Ten Year Symposium - ITN: The Next 10 Years

Gerald Nepom, MD, PhD was named the Director of the ITN in April of 2010. He is also the Director of the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, located in Seattle, WA and is the immediate past president of FOCIS, Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies, a world-wide professional organization dedicated to interdisciplinary research and education in translational immunology. Dr. Nepom has published over 300 papers on human immunogenetics, immunoregulation and immunotherapy; he maintains an active basic and translational research laboratory focused on identifying and understanding molecular and genetic mechanisms contributing to triggering of autoimmune disorders.
