Since Aaron’s transition to IT Manager, he has seamlessly managed the department through significant change. His efforts have been instrumental in bolstering our IT services to the Bethesda office—to meet the growing technical demands e.g., the successful hire of a second support technician and providing a 400% bandwidth increase to the office. In China Basin, Aaron has provided all levels of support, exemplifying his willingness to do whatever it takes to help the ITN achieve its mission. It is not uncommon for him to unjam printers during the day, and then lead engineering projects late into the evening. In fact, Aaron recently led the effort to replace several of our ailing software firewalls with top-notch hardware firewalls that had been sitting idle. This project required Aaron to manage his daily support activities and spend many evenings project managing this endeavor. As Aaron’s manager, I feel very fortunate to have him on the team and am pleased to see that the organization has collectively recognized his efforts in this way.
