Special thanks to Michelle Huffaker, the Director of Clinical and Translational Medicine for the ITN’s allergy portfolio, (as well as Carolyn Baloh and other ITN members of the LEAP study team) for helping to inform the public – via the Washington Post (and other media) – about the LEAP-Trio study that showed that that early peanut consumption provides lasting tolerance to peanut into adolescence demonstrating that long-term prevention and tolerance can be achieved in food allergy.
